WHO WE ARE
Honarmand Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was created to support qualified Iranian Artists. Honarmand Foundation provides financial assistance to elderly qualified Iranian artists who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, assisting qualified Iranian artists in need. As resources become available, Honarmand Foundation may support other activities to promote Iranian Arts and Culture. Honarmand Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors to direct the business, property, and affairs of the foundation. The members of the Board include:
Khosrow Semnani, Morteza Barjesteh, Andy Madadian, Bahman Fathi.
The Honarmand Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting artists who are the custodians of Iran's rich culture and heritage. This initiative is powered entirely by volunteers, ensuring that 100% of the funds raised go directly to the artists and cultural initiatives they support.
All individuals working with the Honarmand Foundation do so on a voluntary basis and receive no salaries or personal benefits from the organization. Their dedication stems from a shared belief in the transformative power of art and a commitment to safeguarding cultural heritage.
Our mission is to address the critical needs of artists and writers in our community, offering financial assistance for:

Medical expenses assistance, including life-saving treatments and medications.

Funeral arrangements for legendary figures in art, literature, and culture, an issue that has long challenged the Iranian community.

Sponsorship of documentary production to highlight the lives and works of artists.

Support for audiobook publications and partnerships with foundations for the visually impaired.

Contributions to cultural magazines and publications to ensure the preservation of Iran’s artistic and literary legacy.

The foundation began its work just months before the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when the need for unity and support became more apparent than ever. Since then, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to helping artists overcome challenges, allowing them to continue their invaluable contributions to Iranian culture.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Honarmand Foundation provides financial assistance to elderly qualified Iranian artists who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, assisting qualified Iranian artists in need. Contributions to Honarmand Foundation’s general fund will help pay for an artist’s medical expenses, housing, food, and other vital expenses such as utilities, clothing, transportation, program services, and counseling. We also assist elderly Iranian Artists, regardless of medical condition, who are experiencing financial hardship. Grants typically range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per qualifying individual. Iranian Artists applying for assistance must present evidence of a significant professional artistic history and demonstrate financial hardship with accompanying documentation. Money that is donated to our general fund goes towards helping this class of professional Iranian artists. You may not know all their names, but their contributions to Iranian arts are just as important and your generosity towards helping them is both crucial and appreciated.
WHO WE HELP
Honarmand Foundation provides financial assistance and services to career Iranian artists. Financial grants are paid directly to medical providers, hospitals, and other third-party entities. Candidacy for assistance depends, among other factors, on the availability of funds and the number of eligible applicants, along with the different criteria.
AN IRANIAN ARTIST IS A PERSON ENGAGED IN AN ARTISTIC PROFESSION RELATED TO AUDIO,
VIDEO, THEATRICAL, LITERARY, OR VISUAL ARTS.
